Hong Kong geography

Hong Kong today was formed around the fourth millennium BC, when the southeast of the country under went a huge environmental change. The sea levels around the coast rose up to 100 metres, this rise in water levels gave Hong Kong there safe harbours, which is the main reason for westerners wanted to use the region for trading posts.
